PRE SCHOOL
PRE SCHOOL
Preschool is a learning space offering early childhood care and education to children between the ages of 2 ½ and 5 years. It enables the children to strengthen their social skills, learn to compromise and be respectful of others. They learn to problem solve, explore, play with their peers and build confidence. They learn to be very independent by doing small tasks like pouring their own drink, getting their lunch box from their school bags and putting on their own coats, to bigger tasks such as making decisions about how to spend their free time. They learn to explore the world around them.
Here at Dolphins, the children learn through play. They do lots of activities that they find interesting like building blocks, art activities, sand and water play, dress-up and doing puzzles. We help the children to learn language and strengthen pre-reading skills by playing rhyming games and letting the children tell stories. At preschool, we help to encourage their overall physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional development. At Dolphins it is all about having fun and acquiring lifelong skills. Children need to be imaginative and to socialise. We recognise the particular needs of each and every child and we adapt our curriculum to suit every child. We at Dolphins thrive on excellence and ensure that all the children are happy and have fun through learning.
