Our Toddler & Wobbler rooms cater for children from 12months to 2 years. Our Toddler/Wobbler room curriculum is designed with your child in mind. We observe the emergent interests of each of our children and design and plan our activities and lessons around them.

We understand that the young child needs a stimulating environment and engaging activities to help them develop. We have a wide range of age-appropriate materials and equipment for the children to enjoy and learn with. As children of this age group are still learning all about themselves, a wider range of toys and materials are available as sharing is harder for them.

At Dolphin’s, we follow a flexible daily routine with lots of activities throughout the day.
We promote independence in feeding, getting our bags/coats, tidying up our classroom and much more.
The child’s holistic development is extremely important to us. We promote all aspects of child development throughout everything we do in our toddler room.

We work on our fine and gross motor skills for our physical development as this is extremely important in later life. We do this through outdoor play and other activities such as music and dance.

Messy play is also one of our favourite things to do in our classroom! We love exploring different textures. We play with water, sand, playdough, jelly, shaving foam and lots more!

There is a wide range of books and posters available throughout the room to stimulate and encourage language development and a general awareness of language and text. This allows for your child’s cognitive development also. Other activities used to promote your child’s cognitive development include shape/colour/size sorting and age-appropriate puzzles.

Social interactions for this age group are vital. We learn how to interact with our peers and caregivers respectfully.

We have separate sleep rooms to allow the children to rest when needed.

Snacks and hot lunches are also provided throughout the day by our inhouse cook for our toddlers and wobblers.
Each day our Little Vista app is updated in real time to let you know what your little one has been up to.
